Richie Hawtin parteciperà al prossimo Dekmantel Festival 2025, presentando il suo spettacolo “DEX EFX X0X”.
La performance rappresenta un’evoluzione del suo precedente progetto “DECKS, EFFECTS & 909”, in cui modificava i brani con effetti e sovrapponeva percussioni utilizzando una drum machine Roland TR-909.
Nella versione attuale il live girerà sull’improvvisazione dal vivo, combinando suoni immersivi e visual.
IL PROGETTO DEF-EFX-X0X
Il progetto DEF-EFX-X0X ovvero DECKS, EFFECTS & 909 (o altre drum machine) consiste nell’usare effetti per modificare i dischi che vengono passati aggiungendo anche percussioni extra con una drum machine tipo Roland TR-909.
DEX EFX X0X è anche una moderna configurazione digitale con l’aggiunta di un mixer analogico Allen & Heath MODEL 1 ed una configurazione di accompagnamento di luci proiettate con Minuit Une Photons.
Quest’ultime sono lampade di altissima qualità dell’azienda francese Minuit Une, fondata nel 2013 da un team di ingegneri ottici, appassionati di musica e grandi fan della scena dei concerti dal vivo, tutto arricchito da ulteriori proiezioni su schermo a LED.
DEKMANTEL FESTIVAL
Il Dekmantel Festival 2025 si terrà dal 30 luglio al 3 agosto presso l’Amsterdamse Bos ad Amsterdam.
Il programma include oltre 150 artisti tra cui Jeff Mills, Four Tet, Honey Dijon e Avalon Emerson.
La partecipazione di Richie Hawtin con il suo set “DEX EFX X0X” rappresenta un contributo significativo al festival, che ha già raggiunto da molti anni un livello di assoluto prestigio per le line up presentate.
